What are the elements of design?

We practice an evolutionary architecture, combining what has proven to be meaningful in the past with the best of what we envision for the future. Our practice works at every scale, from custom homes to company headquarters, collaborating with private and public sector clients to create adaptable designs in new construction, adaptive re-use and master planning.  Our inspiration comes from all the fields that architecture touches: technology, biology, and physics / theater, music, and art / politics, law, and economics.  We organize our ideas through a unique four-cornered lens that brings into focus the critical interconnections that make successful environmental designs.
